1. Why?
1.1. A maintained blog is a good resume
I've always wanted to have my own blog and personal site, but I've been dragging my feet with the excuse that I'm busy and don't know front-end development. But recently I found a way to build a blog in a few easy steps. 一句话来说就是，写一个博客有很多好处，却没有任何明显的坏处。
1.2. Sense My Own Identity by recording
Since high school, I have kept a simple handwritten journal every day. Just like Ji Xianlin's diary of complaining and Hu Shih's diary of playing cards, my handwritten diary is simply a record of what happened today, with interesting things shared on social networks.
With the increase of the Internet age and the continuous intake of knowledge and information, I gradually have my own ideas and thoughts about some things, and this will also be mixed with a lot of associations. Then I think of the Internet hyperlinks, with which I can easily organize my ramblings.
But I've been careful to ask myself, are my understanding and awareness really clear and organized? Not to mention whether it is accurate. I am terrified of ideas like “Anyway, that's it, I feel it is right. But if you ask me about the detail, I can not say exactly what is going on.” and “I feel strongly that there is something wrong with this statement, but I can't say why it is wrong and exactly what is wrong with it.”. I don't want and I am afraid to leave others an impression that I am the person who holds that kind of idea. As mentioned in 书写是为了更好的思考, I hope to summarize my knowledge system through writing.
If you can't measure it, you can't improve it.
If you can't explain it to a 6-year-old, you don't understand it yourself.
2. If you can’t write well, don’t write.
2.1. Contradiction
Like the reader mentioned in this newsletter, I had the urge to write newsletters and blogs to share, but then I realized the insurmountable gap between myself and high-level authors when I was exposed to higher-quality information sources. So I put it on hold for a while.
At that time, I also felt quite contradictory, such as 炜晨, happy xiao, 陆屿, etc., while encouraging people to write and other creative work, and at the same time stressed that "If you can’t write well, don’t write." and don't create electronic waste for the Internet. But my own knowledge and level are really limited, it is easy to find more comprehensive and profound articles than mine, so according to the standards of bloggers, don’t I deserve to have the right to share or leave traces on the Internet?
2.2. JUST DO IT.
I like the idea of "writing is thinking itself" in this newsletter, and I think writing is part of growing up. Because I later learned the point of view that "You don't need to be an expert to XXX", and also learned not to compare my initial articles, videos, etc. with the current articles, videos, etc. of great creators, which will most likely be extremely demotivating. It’s better to use the creator's first newsletter, first blog, and first video as the standard. Also, even the sharing that seems to be poor in today's eyes is a record of growth, and the ability to have a sense of shame about poor work seems to be a reflection of growth.
So with the above-mentioned idea and the thought "Newborn calves are not afraid of tigers", I also started my own writing and other creative work. At this time, ideas like “If you can’t write well, don’t write.” and “Don't create electronic waste for the Internet.” are turned from guidelines to reminders. I know I'm just not good enough to write the e-waste I create, so let me write the most beautiful e-waste I can at my current level to the best of my ability.
In fact, it seems to make sense to extend writing to other forms of sharing or creation such as making videos, taking photos, audio production, etc. with similar reasoning. But as a form of creativity that has been used since compulsory schooling, writing seems to be the least expensive and most feasible to create.
3. The little nagging

I don't really want to share my nagging on blogs, I want my blogs to be at least not disgusting in terms of reading experience even after a while, and I can still keep even a trace of confidence and even pride in my blogs. Because I also have multiple social media accounts as well as my own newsletter where I can pour out negative emotions and share timely ideas.
